Online Therapy in Portland and Across Oregon
You may look like you’re handling things while spending a lot of energy overthinking, pushing yourself, or being hard on yourself. I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, shame, harsh self-criticism, or identity-related stress, including many LGBTQ+ clients.
I’m Eric Goodwin, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor offering online therapy in Portland and throughout Oregon. My work draws from mindfulness and self-compassion, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy and LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy, with an emphasis on understanding what’s happening for you without treating you like a problem to fix. I work online with adults throughout Oregon, from the Portland metro area to communities across the state.
What to Expect From the Free Consultation
The free 15-minute phone consultation is a chance to talk with me about what’s been going on and what you’re hoping for from therapy. You can ask questions, learn a little more about how I work, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
You don’t need to know what kind of therapy you want or have a perfectly organized explanation of what has been going on. We can start with whatever feels most important to you. If it seems like working together could be a good match, we can talk about scheduling a first session. There’s no pressure to continue if it doesn’t feel like the right fit.
You can call me at (971) 533-5590 or use the form below to request a consultation.
